He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Calicut, Currently National Institute of Technology. He obtained his post graduation and Doctoral Degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching, academic administration and student and faculty management.
Before joining SSIET, Dr.S.P.Subramanian served as Principal in Loyola Institute of Technology, Chennai. He also worked as Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at R.M.K.Engineering College Chennai.
Dr.S.P.Subramanian has over five years of research Experience. His research interest is in the area of Phase Change Material based Energy Storage Technologies. He has published several papers in National and International Journals and attended seminars and conferences in varied areas.

Dr. A. A.Natarajan has taken over as Director Research & Development of SSIET: A graduate from University Vishveshwaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore , completed his PG at Indian Institute Science, Bangalore . He has served 29 years at NGEF, a large scale Electrical Industry and reached the position of General Manager R&D and General Manager RM Divisions. He obtained his Ph.D., in 1976 on industrial R&D.

Professors and HOD of EEE at Vellore Institute of Technology for two years, as Principal and HOD EEE Raja Rajeswari Engineering College & Dr.MGR Engineering College Deemed University, for four years. He has served for fifteen years in evening Engineering College UVCE Bangalore. He was active in two Deemed Universities in augmentation and operation exercises. An industry guide for seven Ph.D. students and has authored 100 papers and has abundant student and faculty management and research experience to his credit. |

Prof. Dr. E.V.M. Sargunar, Dean Academic had his graduation and Post Graduation in Civil Engineering and Hydraullics from Mysore University and earned his Ph.D. from IIT Madras in 1987.
He started his career as Civil Engineer in Madras PWD and later joined Department of Technical Education, Chennai as gazetted lecturer. He left government service and joined Crescent Engineering College as Assistant Professor in 1989 and left the College as Professor of Civil Engineering in 1996 December. |

Dr. A.V.R. Pandiyan, Director-PG Studies obtained his B.A.(Economics) in 1983 and M.A. (Economics) in 1985, from St.Joseph's College, Trichy. He got his MBA with specialisation in Human Resources Management from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy, in 1987. He is a gold medallist in B.A.M.A., and M.B.A. degree courses. He secured first rank and got distinction in MBA. He is conferred Ph.D in the faculty of management studies by the University of Madras . He has 20 years of teaching experience to his credit. |

Ms. E.Jayashree Professor and Head of the Department completed B.Sc., B.Tech. (MIT, Anna University ) in Electronics Engineering and Masters in Power Electronics ( College of Engineering , Guindy, Anna University ). She is at present doing her Ph.D. ( College of Engineering , Guindy, Anna University ) in Power Electronics. She has been the Management Representative in the process of implementing ISO 9001-2000 Quality System in Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology for two consecutive terms. |

Dr. Patricia Trueman, Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology is a Post Graduate in Home Science with specialization on Foods and Nutrition. She did her Ph.D. in “Chemical and Nutritional Studies on Buffalo Milk Casein” at Loyola College.During 1979-83 worked in Protein Research Unit of Loyola College, Chennai as a Junior Research Fellow, in the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR). She has presented several papers in national seminars and published her results outputs in some of the journals and proceedings. |
